What the audit looks at

Five areas that decide whether a small-business site brings in calls or quietly loses them.

01Speed

How fast pages load.

02Mobile use

How the site works on a phone.

03Contact paths

Whether a visitor can reach you.

04Basic security

The easy-to-miss holes.

05Search basics

What Google can read.

The audit in detail

One written report, five areas, every problem ranked, and a fix for each.

Good fit if
  • You have a business website and suspect it is slow, hard to use on a phone, or not bringing in enquiries
  • You want to know what to fix and in what order before you spend money
  • You want something you can hand to any web person
Not the right thing if
  • You want the problems fixed for you. The audit does not fix anything; fixing is a separate quote
  • You want a guarantee of rankings or sales. No report can promise that
  • You want a deep security test. This checks the basic, visible things only

Speed

How long your pages take to load, especially on a phone, and what is slowing them down. Oversized images and heavy add-ons are the usual causes. Slow pages lose visitors before they read a word.

Mobile use

I go through your site the way a customer on a phone would: reading the text, tapping buttons, filling in the contact form. Anything that is awkward or broken goes in the report.

Contact paths

Can a visitor who is ready to call or write you actually do it? I check that your phone number, email and forms are easy to find and that they work.

Basic security

The easy-to-miss holes: whether the site uses HTTPS, whether its software looks out of date, and obvious problems visible from the outside. This is a visitor's-eye check, not a penetration test.

Search basics

Whether Google can read your site and what it will show for it: page titles, descriptions and the like. These are basics, not a promise about where you will rank.

How the ranking works

Every finding is placed in one of three groups: fix first (it is costing you customers now), fix soon, or fix later. Each one comes with what is wrong, why it matters, and the fix, written so that you or any web person can do it.

What I need from you

Your website address. Nothing else. I review your site as a visitor sees it, so no logins are needed.

What happens after

The report is yours to keep and use. If you want me to carry out any of the fixes, ask and I will quote it separately. There is no obligation, and the audit is complete on its own.

What you get, and how it works

A written report. Problems ranked from most to least costly to ignore. The fix for each. Delivered within 5 business days of your order.

Questions

Cancellation and refunds

If I cannot deliver the report within 5 business days, or you are not satisfied within 7 days of receiving it, reply and I refund you in full.

Do you fix what you find?

The audit finds and explains problems. It does not fix them. If you want me to fix them, that is a separate quote.

Do you need access to my website?

No. Send me the website address. I review the public site as a visitor sees it.

Who do I talk to?
